biased teachers, seasoned kittens, and random breakouts

I'mk pretty sure that I have the most biased economics teacher on the face of the planet. He's completely awesome but he has a big biff on the government...

"Do YOU want the government running your life? We are THIS close to becoming a communist country! I say FREEDOM!!"

Well, I'm exaggerating a bit, but he has really good points. Like the government shouldn't be as into controlling our businesses and HEALTH CARE and taxing up the cazoo to buy just more STUFF, getting us into bigger dept that we owe to China and the Arabian countries that we are fighting!!! When will it end.

.....Man. starting to sound like him.

But he is actually really awesome. He has a microphone in the classroom so that he doesn't have to yell. If I were him, I would be using that to my full advantage.

Like say a student goes into his classroom early, no one else in there and then Mr. Clevenger's voice would boom throuhg the speakers like "THIS IS GOD!! GO TO AFRICA!!!"

And the student like falls on his face and is like "YES LORD!!"

it would be a hoot!

Also, tomorrow is the day that me and my mom go to the pound and look for kittens.

Do you know that apparently there is a kitten season? They are like crops. They fertile themselves in the winter and give birth in the spring and summer.

So, since it being winter right now, not very many places have kittens which makes it harder to find kittens around here! Which is wierd because can't kittens just decide to have sex whenever they want and give birth whenever they want? (Well, they can't really choose the birthing part)

What would happen if people were like that? Getting pregnant in winter and then.....

BOOM!!!!

BABIES!!!

That would be hilarious. It's like "Hey honey, do you want to try to have a baby?" and the other opposite-sex spouse would say " Oh, sweety, its not in season yet."

That poor husband. He has to wait all year until Winter to.....you know... Well, it would be a good Christmas present.

ANYWAYs, did not mean to come out that way. I have this massive thing on my head and I'm like breaking out everywhere!!! IT SUCKS!!

I hate coming to school where everyones face is like suntanned and blemish free and I walk in looking like a mountain range is being formed on my face and I get wierd looks all day. UGH...

Anyways, thats about it. until next time....

I'm so happy!!

Soooooooo I'm getting my kitten before my 6 months are up!! Mum is taking me to go adopt one this weekend (or 2)! I'm so excited to have a cat again, the only problem is that since its really small,

I'm afraid that if I leave it alone in the house one day that it would get lost behind the washing machine or something....

And do cats need potty training? I have'nt even thought of that! Like cats never take direction so how do they get potty trained?

Its obviously been a while....

But I am still waiting impatiently until saturday when i get to see them.

Anyways, to keep the house clean still as the cat is there, i also want to be in shape. So i'm going to see if this Thursday and Friday to go work out with Talia, my partner in crime.

I actually really want to stick with this to become a better person and get in awesome shape. But with my bad knee, I can't do any individual sport. So that sort of stinks. But I can work the elypticals (if thats how you spell it). So looking forward to that.

FIT AND FREE!!!

.....

WITH A KITTYYY!!!

So i have decided....

To actually try the drivers test.
I made the decision yesterday when I was looking for jobs at Wild Waves.I was thinking that I really didnt want to ride the icky, germy bus where the possibility of getting kidnapped and raped rises a little.

Well, so does working at Wild Waves. but I really need a job this summer. If I ever want to get a car or something else important like that, job is necessary.

And to get a job, i need to drive there. so, whalla!

Also, me and Talia decided that we have been fat too long (not Talia actually, she's pretty skinny unlike me who is one point away from being obese haha) but anyways we decided that on Thursday's and Fridays after school we would both go to the gym and....

BURN BABY BURN!!

I always had trouble going to the gym because of the lack of inspiration. But Talia is my new inspiration person thingy. WE're going to do it!

Also, the whole cat things going ok. I need to vaccuum when I get home and put clothes away and clean the kitchen and stuff.

AGH!! BACK PAIN!! it hurts! Courtney, can u come and give me a back crack?

stripping? really?

So i did what savanna blogged about a while ago. I went to the random word generator and ther word was "stripping." How am I supposed to blog about that. Well, I just came back from Las Vegas so I guess I could figure something out. so.....

Well In las Vegas there are a lot of naked pictures everywhere. Which makes it really awkward, me a Christian and all, to be there. Like there's a gentlemen's club with naked women on the billboard!

Are you kidding me?!! No Gentleman would be in there! Its probably some old pervs in there watching that stuff because they aspire to be like the playboy perv someday! or its just a whole bunch of random drunk guys.

Yah, sure, they say "Oh its just a group of civilized young men getting together and hanging out. Oh and there's just a little bit of adult entertainment..." blah, blah, blah!!

Stripping!! BAD
Turtlenecks!! UGLY
Covering up!! GOOD

Well, actually turtlenecks can be fairly pretty on the right person.

Anyways, I'm just saying a guy aint a gentlemen when he finds it entertaining to watch a girl pole dance bring herself to a lower moral...something.

Guys are pigs. sometimes.
They have their good points.

I wouldn't know because I've been single all my life, but I know a little bit from people watching and taking off what they say.

So. Anyways, stripping. random word of the day.

Diggin deeper into my thoughts...Don't get lost in there

La de la. Live from study hall again I am going to attempt to write a poem based on how I feel at this moment. Here we go!

The room is still
Quiet as a whisper in the night (tee hee)
I stumble to my seat at the regular table.
I breath in a sigh of relief
as the peace begins to settle
The quiet
The absence of noise.
and I think, "this is good."

As I flip though my assorted books and loose papers,
A niceness comes about.
I realize then and there that
I do not
Have the privelege of doing any
Homework.

I silently cheer as I sit down at the computer
To send out my joy to others.

Now the memories of the week flow through my mind.
Like a racing train,

I remember being angry, upset, hurt, and exhausted.
I remember pouring out my soul to God
I remember all of the useless drama that I caused
and the peace leaves.

But I remember the smiles that I got,
The good things I did,
The amount of them, not in large quantity.

I lay down my head at night asking the same question.
Why am I here?

The question lingers with me everyday.
But I just store it until I have time to think.

Could this be just fixed by thinking thru?
Does this require an intervention?
No idea.

But for now I wait.
On God. On answers.
I wait and pray,
That He will lead the way
That I won't be lead astray (ok, enough rhymes)

Anyway (Darn)
That all there seems to be
For me to do.
Somehow, I will push thru
And the prize on the otherside of the door I choose
Will be greater
stronger
and true.

Yes I wait.
God, I wait for you.

Where did the music go?

So I just finished typing out my final draft for my paper and I'm exhausted

I have been physically and emotionally exhausted lately.
It's like God has become a closed book to me and just for the past couple months I just wanted to scream my head off. I'm so tired! And ticked! and no I'm not PMS-ing.
Like I'm planning on doing running start and my world around me is just spinning and spinning and spinning and I don't know whether to believe the thoughts in my head or just believe what I have learned all my life. Geeze, adolescence sucks! You have to think about all these things at some point.

But I just wish that God would come to me in a vision some time and that the vision would be long and God would just talk with me and help me figure it all out. I wish I knew what I am going to do in my life. I have no idea whatsoever. I'm probably going to just end up an accountant. But what I have always dreamed of doing is writing songs and stories and playing music. but I'm no good at it!! Which completely ruins the dream

I haven't played my piano for a long time and I haven't written a song in forever. It's like the song just kinda left me and I don't know where it went.

Sorry, I don't mean to be a downer. Just having all this stuff stuffed in me for a while makes me want to let it go and let others know and not be so closed.

So. anyways, God, please hear me. I'm tired and I want you to reveal yourself to me so I don't feel so awkward acting like I'm faking it. Give me my music back and the inspiration to play and write and to just live happy. praying for that long vision though. cause i know you do that. Do that for me, please?

AMEN.

Well, I'm tired (shocker) and I think I'm going to turn in. Good night world.

Research papers and Blind dates

Ugh. dont you hate it when "Hey I have no homework over the three day weekend! Yay!" sets in and then on the last day after chilling and relaxing and having fun with the awesomest cousins ever, you realize "WAIT!! I have the rough draft of my research paper due tomorrow and I haven't started it and I don't know how too! OH WHAT DO I DO!!"

Ya, I hate it when that happens.

It completely disrupts the pure peace in life. Just these huge obligations pop up when you really don't want them to. sigh. well I started it, the bibliography at least.

I can never start writing a paper beginning with the Intro paragraph. I have theses wierd brain farts and you always need the start of the paper to be the first impression of it. You see, reading a research paper is like a blind date and you haven't met the person yet.

You look at the person. Does he/she look even sort of appealing to your kind of taste? Could you even think about "liking" them? Or are they just throwing off that horrible vibe of cockiness or selfishness or that they have'nt showered in days.

Does what they say make sense? Are you interested with the topic? Does the tone of their voice make you want to hear more?

The intro is the most important part of a paper, just like the first impressions of somebody you might possibly "love" in the future. If you screw up the intro, the person is most likely never wanting to see you again, or in this case, read anymore of your paper and give you a bad grade on something you worked really hard on.

This is a sad world where people judge you on the very first impressions, even if its just a side thought. like "That person needs a shower." or "Man, that hobo should get a job and stop asking me for money."

Ya'll dont know their life!! Leave them alone! They probably think your a snobby, stuck up, egotistical maniac for giving them a judging glance. Jesus would give everyone a hug. thats what we should do.

Ya.

So.

Got kinda off topic. Sorry, was on a roll.

Anyways, I should start my paper. Hope no one was offended in this blog

Don't mean to judge.

Thumb wrestle to the death...

I had a burst of revelation....my thumbs are strangley stumpy. I could never beat my friend savanna in a thumb wrestle war because her thumbs are SO INSANELY HUGE!!( snickels, this is a complement)

But today is a new day. I challenged her to a thumb wrestle match during lunch and I dodged left and right and narrowly escaped her appendige of doom! There were too many close calls. And then, I found my point to attack! I lunged for her thumb with my own and smacked it down and quickly counted to ten!

FINALLY!! I was victorious.

Anyways that was fun, so tonight I am going to a birthday party that I still have to buy a present for....procrastination babay!

U know what? I think I actually do better when I procrastinate. I mean I wait and wait and let the pressure build and then I just do it all in one night and I do it well instead of doing it overtime and making it look sloppy. Thats just me though.

Yah.....

.....so.....

Now is study hall, but since no homework, doing this which is actually kind of relaxing. just sort of talking to myself in my head and my fingers.

Yah...its nice.

So, AH! I found something to talk about by just looking out the window at the parking lot.

Our school has started this driving program. I have my permit at the moment and already took a class and took the written test and everything!

But, here is where procrastination comes in, I still need to do the dreaded drive. with the watcher person breathing down your neck and docks off a billion points because you were 13 inches from the curb or something. I have been so scared to fail that I haven't taken the test!

The biggest thing i wory about is parallel parking and backing round a corner! Who really does ever back around a corner?

Anyways, tata for now.

Just the beginning

SAVANNA!!! this is your doing! but here I am....on a blog....woo.
Man is this supposed to feel so strange? I feel like I'm just sending random words into this vast unknown and....ya. nothing strangely compelling. thats it. hmm

But yet its cool.

So I am going to start now. so I am in an economics class with Talia, Tasha, and Mr. Clevenger. He's funny and stuff cause he uses a microphone even though his voice is louder than most of the teachers. But his class is good so far. Not that much homework yet, but Maia warned me about the homework load. so. YET TO COME!!

Wow. I just realized that compared to savanna's and katie's blogs, mine is so......formal.

Anyway. I figured out what I could blog about. You see when I was a little girl (little girl meaning 5th grade) I had a cat. he was the most WONDERFUL cat ever and his name was tyler. I had him for a couple years already, and he was fat and loud and adorable. How I like them.

ANYWAY, short story long, we moved cause my sister graduated from our elementary school and we moved from our lovely barf green house to another not so barfy green house. My uncle had this great idea to put Tyler back in the moving van in his crate, in the dark, in the cold. I. was. crushed.

So when we moved in, tyler was so emotionally disturbed that he would constantly hide behind the washing machine and under the couch. i think he became a partial schizophrenic. and one day while i was at school my mom was working on the yard and left the door open to see if Tyler would arise from the washing machine tomb of darkness. she watched him come to the door and thats when things went horribly wrong.

He ran out the door and behind my house.

And my mom just sat there.

And we *sniff* never saw him again. frowny face.

So my mom promised crushed little ol me that because of her lack of doing ANYTHING to get him, that she would get me a new cat to fill my lonely void.

Well 5 years later and still no cat, i asked my mom last month about it (you see, a cat owner never forgets) and she said that if I kept the house clean for 6 months, I would get a cat.

So I'm already one month down and i just cleaned the bathroom and about to load the dishwasher. things going strong!! Claussen, here I come!!

Btw, Claussen is what I'm going to name him. its my favorite brand of pickles.

Well now! I feel like the mountain on my back has finally lifted from venting all these unopened emotions. i guess i can get used to it.

So, farewell. I'm off to clean!
