Tolo. Sadie Hawkins Dance. whatever.

OMG! I totally forgot about tolo! so its this month and I have never gone to a dance nor have I been on a date nor have had any sort of significant contact with the opposite sex ever.

But since this might be my last dance i wanted to ask a guy, since its tolo and my duty.

I asked all my friends at Bible study and they all said "John Kobelek."

I drew a blank. I knew his little bro but I didn't know who he was. So they described him to me and kinda shy and geeky but not completely ugly. broad-shouldered, glasses, and taaaaalllll.

Wow way to go guys. calling me dorky or something.

But no. He's pretty cool.....from what I see.

I still have yet to actually meet the guy. I am so guy challenged you don't understand. See I always think that guys tend to go for the skinny, pretty, christian girls. and I'm kinda odd. and I don't always look pretty unlike the Fonden sisters and all the girls at church pretty much.

I need advice. should I just walk up to him and be like "Hey, you don't know me but you might but I was just wondering if you could go to tolo with me at my school?....OH and my names Haley. And your names John. No its not creepy that I know your name, I was just talking to my friends about you and how you would be cool to go to tolo with. so here I am. will you go?"

......."No.".......

"Ok. um. thanks anyway. catch you later." slaps my head.

I just don't know how to just introduce myself to him let alone ask him to tolo. Ugh. I need help.
